West, who is now known as Ye, joined Jones’ Infowars wearing a black mask that covered his whole face. He then proceeded to rant about pornography, sin and the devil. “I like Hitler.” According to the Bangkok Post, West has also claimed that he will run for the US presidency in 2024, despite his very public battles with self-admitted mental health issues. A battle he is clearly losing. The man needs help because his numerous inflammatory  statements are clearly cries for help.

I can't wait for him to become president in charge of the nuclear briefcase.

If this is his attempt at attention seeking behaviour then he needs a lengthy prison sentence.

If he is genuinely mentally ill or has profound psychological problems then he requires professional intervention.

Without being too judgemental, I suspect he is attention seeking.

It appears to be working:

I see good things about Hitler also. This guy invented highways, invented the very microphone that I used as a musician

That quote is all over the internet, with people correcting him regarding the origin of those two inventions.

Perhaps tomorrow he'll claim Hitler invented the internet and the 5G network, who knows?

It's a shame time machines do not exist. It would be interesting to send this nutter spending some time in nazi Germany, as a black person, I am sure he would have plenty of fun.

Hitler if you read about him, wasn't all round bad, though. More to the point, he wasn't seen as that bad at the time. People like Ghandi praised Hitler at the time, though often they criticised racism and antisemitism in Germany. Only in retrospect did it become taboo to give any positive appraisals to Hitler himself, or to his regime.

At present there's a fad, to keep pointing out Wall Street backed Hitler, to discredit American capitalism. Truth is, a fair few socialist and even anticolonial thinkers did, as well. People like Malcolm X continued to do so, after Germany lost World War 2. Ironically, I think only white people from northern/western/central Europe have hangups regarding racial solidarity, without which, Hitler is just a Chancellor of Germany, from history books.

Be honest a lot of blacks in America, are not merely pissed off, by the violence of a few white cops. More than White's, they openly talk about looking after their own race, and - just as importantly - externalising blame onto other ethnic groups. Obviously including white Americans, but also especially the Jews. Kanye's erraticism may be strange, but his opinions, are not bizarre for someone of his origins.

Albeit unpopular, your out-of-the-box commentary is precisely what Kayne 'thinks' he's doing.  OG rapper like Cube ala NWA, Tupac, etc., who says what he thinks a lot of other people are thinking, but too afraid to say, or admit, for fear of backlash against them personally, and their livelihoods.

While there's truth to that, obviously, looking at it clinically, Kanye's a basically educated boob suffering from Dunning-Kruger.  The American Right in particular could give a rat's about what Hollywood actors and musicians think, unless they're saying things meant trigger people into a reaction, then they're all in defending their new, latest idiot no matter what falls out of his mouth.

Kayne's mimiking Trump's Shock Jock media/stage role, emboldened by financial security and independence.  He's no blue collar martyr fighting The Man for freedom of speech.  He's put up his own money for it too, which sounds brave but it's just stupid is as stupid does.

Yeah, he loved dogs and painting for example, could not have been that bad. His only little defect was that he wanted to exterminate the jews (and others). Apart from that, he was a fine man and built up a regime that was fair for all Germans, even the ones wearing a yellow star.

More to the point, he wasn't seen as that bad at the time.

What time? Before we found out about his little project that was the jews (and others) extermination? Only other antisemites and ignorants did not see Hitler as "that bad", and there were plenty in Europe those days.

Only in retrospect did it become taboo to give any positive appraisals to Hitler himself, or to his regime.

How can anyone not clearly undertand that someone who killed 6 millions jews, roms, homosexuals,..., who committed such abomination, every single other actions of the life of this evil man are TOTALLY cancelled?? When you committed such atrocities and it was always your project to do so, there is nowhere anything positive to find. It is not a "taboo", it is just a human logic.

No idea where you are getting in the rest of your comment...

Although I think Black Americans have a right to feel anger toward racism because I think it exists on a scale in America that we don't care to admit

BUT......I also think the Black community puts way too much blame on others and don't admit their own failures or shortcomings and will never admit when someone in their community is wrong

Example...........Tension with Asians, there has long been tension between the black community and Asians and a lot of it comes down to Asians owning a lot of the stores in black community

Well, own your own stores! Asians aren't getting any discounts to own those stores.

But no, they'd rather rail against Asian ownership rather than look at their community and ask why they aren't saving money and owning stores

Isnt it one and the same thing, though?

Be as judgmental as you like, the man is a moronic dick head.   What I actually think he is, if stated here,  would get me banned from this forum, but I can still think it.

I believe it can be both

You do have to have personal and community responsibility

Per the example I gave about the Asian tension

These Asians owning stores in black communities are not rich people.

I'd bet most are scraping by

They didn't have any more advantages than any of the blacks in the community

Then you have police brutality

It's an absolute issue

But there are many times the black community riots even when it is clear that the "victim" broke the law and the police action was justified

Both things can be correct, IMO

If he has been "Afro German" he most likely would have been subject to forced sterilization as were the  400+ Afro Rhinelanders in 1937. The Nuremburg laws on racial purity would have applied and  he would have  not been allowed to marry other than another of his kind. If of school age as of  1941, he would have been banned from school. He would not have been allowed to hold a public job other than menial labour.  However, as he is  mentally ill, he most likely would have been euthanized.

The unfortunate aspect of this is that no one in the afro American community  has mentioned this or really  held yeezy responsible.
