UPDATE Savika “Pinky” Chaiyadej was released on bail for 5 million baht yesterday after being detained for over three months inside Central Women’s Correctional Institution in Bangkok. Thailand’s Criminal Court granted bail to Pinky on the conditions that she does not leave the country, must inform the court within seven days if she changes her address, and must report to the court every month. 2 billion THB to keep her comfortable somewhere other than Thailand against 20 years in a Thai prison. I wonder how much the chance to disappear cost her in back handers. Yet another  Vorayuth Yoovidhaya methinks. Once again showing the world how pathetic and corrupt the Thai justice system is and that if you have money and/or influence you are above the law.
