Ukraine’s hotline for surrendering Russian soldiers is getting 100 enquiries a day as the war between the two countries rages on. The hotline is part of the “I Want To Live” project that was started in September by Ukraine. It allows Russian soldiers to call or enter details through a messenger app, such as Telegram, so they can peacefully surrender to Ukrainian forces. According to the BBC, Kyiv officials say the hotline has received more than 3,500 contacts from soldiers and their families since its commencement.
