Yes entertaining and informative Tim

I was as irritated as you were from the constant noise from the Thais, however after all your years in Thailand you should have learned that the Thais love noise. They are uncomfortable in silence.

That is why at 6: 30  in the morning they will be out with an angle grinder cutting up anything that make a noise.

If a job was advertised paying B10 baht an hour banging a drum up and down the main soi they would have 50 applicants - some would work for free!
