When trying to decide where to take our holiday vacation, sure we probably all think the same thing: what would APEC do? He thinks so much of himself and his so-called accomplishments ... 

What the world saw were the protesters and the heavy handedness of the riot police on many young people.  Not sure how those pictures extrapolate into higher tourism ...

Not free places like CCP China can recommend and maybe give incentives. Not sure XI and his commie cronies can force them though!

APEC not getting too much positive  support/comments on this, and many other forums, including Asian ones and  other social media outlets. Do you think they, the leaders,  ever realise this? Having said that, neither does the G20, G7, or COP 27. or the Football World Cup.   Maybe we are all just too World weary and cynically about the motives and abilities of the World's leadership.

I agree. I think things like G20,G7 have hardly ever, if ever resulted in anything positive and tangible. As for the Football World Cup, that’s just a bunch of moaning liberal lefties from Western Countries who still delude themselves in to thinking a country like Qatar cares what they think.
