“There were no strikes made on targets near the Ukrainian-Polish state border.”"

Well I certainly believe the Russian Defense Ministry; they wouldn't lie, would they?

I saw a retired US General/Talking Head on the news who stated that it was almost certainly an accident as Russian missiles are crap, and that sounded all too plausible and likely.

However, something like this can't be ignored or unanswered, especially if Russia is going to lie about it.

I would suggest ALL NATO countries increase their next arms shipment to Ukraine by 2% and include a very public message/statement that any/all strikes and/or casualties suffered by or in NATO countries will see a concurrent increase in weapons delivered.

A simple but elegant message and policy.

well...Biden just told that it is very unlikely that the missile was fired by Russia. Both Ukraine and Russia are using  Russian made missiles for attacking each other. Further Russians have left a huge amount of weapons when they leave Kherson. So this could be a plan to pull NATO into War along side with Ukraine. So need to have a proper investigation to come to a final conclusion

Calm down. A Russian MADE (as as a lot of flying ordnance) missile fired from somewhere out of range of Russian positions blew up a tractor driven by a Pole.  Amerika vaccilates.

A full investigation with verifiable evidence is required. I can’t imagine Ukraine would use such a blunt instrument to try to escalate this war. If he is caught out then NATO would potentially cut back or even stop supporting him. Everyone needs to calm down and await the investigation. A former General on TV today said it could have been fired by Russia but sent off course by a missile defence system. If it was a deliberate attack then NATO need to respond in a proportionate way.

It is clear now...AP says that it was fired by Ukraine to defend against Russian Missiles. And Zelensky was trying his best to pull in NATO into this conflict. Unfortunately it did not materialize

Russia complained vigorously to the UN that Ukraine is blatantly destroying Russian missiles and they should not be allowed to shoot down their property! Kinda ridiculous but hey that's Russia for you... Apparently Ukraine is supposed to surrender and give up everything to Russia and not fight back....
