More than 200 touring motorcycle riders on a philanthropic mission to help poor schoolchildren were arrested while travelling in the north-central province of Phetchabun after they broke several traffic laws and caused a public nuisance. We all know that if every rule in Thailand is enforced the country would grind to a halt in an hour. 

The populace would be in a stunned stupor for months, the police doing their jobs? 555

Think a media example is trying to be set here, bet 250 of those broken law charges get dropped next week.

Maybe instead of providing charitable donations to schools their money would be better spent educating road users (particularly motorcyclists) they could start by leading by example and obeying the laws.

They don't know the laws, in all probability, as noted by @poolie 295 laws were broken, or was it the law was broken 295 times, most with drivers without a licence.
