Watchdog Thailand found 63 dead cats, one dead dog, and 80 emaciated but still alive animals inside a house in Bangkok on Friday. Many of the animal carcasses had been stuffed into a freezer. It was an abhorring situation for sure, but at the same time I can also imagine how a naïve love for pets can get out of hand (1 cat + 1 cat = 6 kittens, repeat several times and what's been littered in the end exceeds capacity).

The insinuation is that the Facebook page was 1) successful and 2) not used towards the suggested intention. That would indeed be bad, but the article leaves the actual facts/truth up to the imagination of the reader.

Based on the facts presented, I don't exclude the possibility of this being a case of someone who got into an unmanageable situation out of naivety and didn't know how to resolve it.
