How does a light 100 m away warn motorists that some morons had completely blocked the road with a structure that is very difficult to see at night??

I hope that the idiots responsible are punished to the full extent of the laws. Doesn't matter that they are monks.

Still haven't come to terms with this inclination of "right" to block streets and access to public thorough fares to traffic for whatever reason, bereavement, marriage, 100 day remembrance etc etc.

I tolerate it badly as they generally allow bikes to transgress but cars get the 5km+ alternative.

wow, this sucks.  RIP

Is there no other spot to build a stage?  Agreed with Loong (above) that people should be held accountable... . but probably wont be.

Who the **** sets up a stage in the middle of the road? and to add insult to injury - no easily seen at night barriers/light reflectors. Even if the driver was drunk they are still at least partially guilty of killing him. Hopefully justive will be done, but given that they're monks - unlikely.

Yet another totally preventable road death and caused by the lack of illuminating the hazard fully.

A roadside restaurant or shop can be lit up like a funfair but a road wide stage is given a single lamp and nothing even attached to the structure to show its presence in the dark.

Somebody needs to be accountable but who's going to prosecute a monk in Thailand ?
