The very first artificial intelligence (AI) Smart Crosswalk was installed in Nonthaburi province near Bangkok. Plans for more AI smart systems at pedestrian crossings are in the pipeline at some high-risk spots in Bangkok. don't tell me , the cop didn't see him .. 

AI , BI or even CI will not change the inherent habit of just barrelling on through regardless of whether folk are crossing or not .. even plod further along the road with rocket launchers to take out offending vehicles in a ball of flame will not change the zombie driving of some .. they'll just get another amulet to ward off RPG's ..

How long before the AI determines that pedestrians are the inferior species to the machines and sends them to slaughter in the crosswalks?

It might be interesting to track how many rear end accidents occur following the installation of the AI sign.  

I think it may be directly proportional to the number of drivers who stop.
