Thai police did a double take yesterday afternoon when they saw a Norwegian man driving a taxi out of Krabi airport in southern Thailand. The thief made the police’s chase easy by stopping at a convenience store to buy a drink, where he was arrested and detained. Attempted murder? Could be a VERY long bit of jail time, Oh forgot this is Thailand so needs the caveat 'unless he has plenty of money to pay everyone off'.

Maybe he thought the price quoted (extortionate) to go to his hotel included the vehicle day rental.
