The Thai government is defending its plan to allow foreign investors to buy up to one rai of land after an opposition party claimed that they are “selling off” the country. Yes they are selling it of, that is the point of the new law.

To my opinion, no country should allow foreigners to by their land. That is an obvious loss of sovereignty and locals can only suffer from it.
