Prayat Puangjumpa, a former deputy secretary-general of the National Counter-Corruption Commission (NACC), has been charged by the commission with being unusually rich. Unusually wealthy is most probably almost every single one of them, with small exceptions for the rich ones prior to going into politics who got their money from legit businesses. Now unfortunately there are some untouchables and then there are the really untouchables that have self given herd immunity.

It's an excellent law but with no teeth. Prosecution and confiscation is unlikely as it would create a domino effect. No ill gotten gains would be safe.

I would guess there  be a fine of 5000 THB with the right judge , and than he ll be off for a nice shopping holidays with his wifey
