Prayat Puangjumpa, a former deputy secretary-general of the National Counter-Corruption Commission (NACC), has been charged by the commission with being unusually rich. Unusually rich for whom?  An ordinary Thai citizen? Unusually rich for someone on his salary? Unusually rich for a senior Thai law enforcer? Unusually wealthy is most probably almost every single one of them, with small exceptions for the rich ones prior to going into politics who got their money from legit businesses. Now unfortunately there are some untouchables and then there are the really untouchables that have self given herd immunity.
