the damages to coastal roads from the very heavy rain, isn't a quick fix, it needs major reconstruction that will take a lot of time and money, whether the roads will hold out until the GREEN season finishes is another matter. these coastal roads need proper steel shuttering  with concrete support

Our every other year Kathu to Patong road landslide.

This year just "a bit bigger". 

That won't be an easy fix, even with dry season ahead. The Chalong to Karon road they "repairing" for over 2 years, now. Still in the middle of trying to find a solution, to stop the slopeside from sliding.

First they had to find the budget! 

One can just hope, that this time the budget is found quicker.
