"Visitors should be ready to take their CO2 home with them."

What on earth is that supposed to mean? If you are going to write a story and then come up with a smart line to finish it, at least try to make sure that it makes sense... that line is meaningless gobbeldegook!

I heard someone order a Tom yum with absolutely no chillies the other day, the waiters face was a picture, not sure how they managed it but she got served something  that  had some resemblance .

My wife works in a casual Thai restaurant where you order at the counter 

 

The shit deals with

The complaints and bizarre requests are unreal

 

 

It wasn't like that at the proper sit down Thai restaurants she worked at before

 

Which, in reference to this topic, would never make a dish 5 Star spicy even when requested 

Because they had people complain it was too spicy even though they ordered 5 Star spicy

I think it is a subtle way - or not, of calling them, an Oxygen Thief.
