You seem very upset by all of this which is why you may be turning to personal attacks. I’m sorry to see that.

I do hope you aren’t one of these expats who retired to Thailand between 1998-2008?  If you were, then I can understand  your frustrations. Fact is they were golden days for the exchange rate and you were sort of living in a fools paradise. Below is the historical exchange rate for the pound against the Baht. You tell me what the Median value is as you seem to understand and these things and see how it compares to this years median.

I bought my car new in Phuket in 2004 (Toyota Avanza, very low mileage still), I think it cost the equivalent of £8000 due to the great exchange rate at the time, I bought it over four years at 1.5% interest rated fixed.

It was a great price and is still going strong.

And the OBR's own figures showing ours will be much worse than other countries face is just coincidence is it?

No, we knew leaving the EU would have a temporary financial affect, it is like starting a new business, there will be a few hard years until things are in place.

But we are free to make out own mistakes and not be dictated to by a bunch of unelected Eurocrats.

Yes they were great days. 1,000 baht was £15 😂😂

So which laws has the UK enacted that they could not have done so before? Imperial weights and measures? The shape of bananas? Sausage laws? Go on. List them.

So Brexit has damaged the UK economy massively.

It has increased illegal immigration.

It has cost us more money than we have saved.

And the bananas remain the same shape.

It was a dumb idea back then. Its a dumb idea now and it will be a dumb idea in the future.

Keep on sulking and coming up with stupid arguments the rest of us do not care about, we are out and we will stay out.

Socialists always make me laugh, if democracy works for them then fine, if they lose then we enter sulk-city and ''it is not fair'', is moaned about forever.

It would appear that when presented with solid evidence,  you have not got any argument so you've resorted to ad hominem - that says more about you than anything else.
