News Forum - Bangkok man electrocuted to death charging his phone
Probably what he actually did - which is nuts - especially considering you can buy a new extension cord for like 50 baht instead of using a dodgy broken one. But yes- it is a mystery to me how holding a phone can actually electrocute someone - the USB cables aren't designed to deliver high voltages. -

I wouldn't call it a "good wage" It's barely getting by if you live anywhere near a big city @TheDirtyDurian had a pretty reasonable cost of living breakdown -

You are very good at putting your words into other posters mouths, I can only repeat what I have been saying from day one is that £36,000 is a good wage. You can twist that as much as you like but my stance will not change. -

News Forum - RTP unveils strict checkpoint measures, officers must wear bodycam at all times
My wife and I were in Mexico, had a 8am flight home but were 2 hours away from airport So got on road about 4am We got stopped in a checkpoint by 2 Mexican cops, who clearly wanted money But they couldn't speak a word of English, not one So I just kept saying "English", "English" And then just slowly drove away 5555 You think they would learn a few words if they pulling over tourists for money! :)
