An off-duty police officer was reportedly spotted walking around carrying a gun and “acting erratically” in a Phuket housing estate, according to residents. The residents told police they saw the Phang Nga Police officer, 27 year old Corporal Korn, at the estate in Thalang district on Monday morning.  Thalang Police Chief Colonel Pisit Chuenpet said police were first alerted about the incident at 8.30am. There can be no clemency for such threatening behaviour. He should never have been recruited to any form of security force because he is clearly mentally unsuitable.

Come to think of it, didn't he only do in a small way what Prayuth & his mob did to Thailand!

Now this is where Thailand needs to crack down on if they are even remotely interested in dealing with drugs, guns and violence... Police brandishing weapons while off duty and intoxicated. All the other "war on drugs" and registering guns is just a distraction

Thailand desperately needs a professional well paid police force in place of the corrupt ill educated mentally unstable muppets currently employed. Will they bite the bullet and change it, no of course not because it suits those in power to have a corrupt police force that are easily manipulated the only people who suffer are the ordinary hard working Thai citizens getting shafted from all angles!
