A Malaysian man arrested for alleged wildlife trafficking has been extradited to the United States. Teo Boon Ching, 57, was put on a flight to the US at Suvarnabhumi airport on Friday night. The suspect, wanted on a warrant issued by the Criminal Court for colluding in wildlife trafficking and money laundering, was arrested at a Bangkok hotel on June 29. I hope that this guy gets the proverbial book thrown at him, gets sent to the worst of the worst prison in the US and immediately is forced to become the B***H of a giant, mean, skinhead with syphilis and genital warts. 

One of the indicators of being a civilized person is demonstrating at least some effort at protecting those more vulnerable creatures and not harming them for 'pleasure'. Yes, sometimes it gets a wee bit fuzzy figuring out all the ethical permutations in the human/animal relationship, but shitty soup and/or bogus penis extension claims are pretty straightforward; don't effing do it.

Civilized people don't harm animals for fun or pleasure.

By the way, good on the US Fish and Wildlife Service for getting this guy. You hear a lot, see many movies of, and read many news articles about the CIA, the FBI, the NSA, etc., but rarely do you hear about the Fish and Wildlife Service; take a bow, gentlemen, you've earned it.

The majority of wildlife crime is based on stupid people with stupid beliefs, why do these myths persist in the twenty first century? China is the biggest culprit if someone told them dog shit would cure cancer they would eat it.
