I would say a comment like that is you are the ignorant one.... I would also say that you can't distinguish between photos of French breads or use a search engine.- 1

Dreaming of Fish & Chips in Bangkok
I encourage you to be less defensive. I already told you "As I said, maybe you are right. I am not an expert on Laos", that's clear isn't it? But I am French and have frequented Brits, Aussies, Americans etc. all my life, and the vast majority of those who (sometimes snobbishly) claimed they knew about wine, cheese, bread or pâtiseries were in fact completely ignorant and it is very amusing . I looked at a whole page of pictures of Khao jee pâté baguettes and they were all exactly the same, that's a fact. Feel free to send me your own pic if the one I posted is not representative. What country are you from? -

This thread is about fish and chips - but I think the evidence we can gather from your comments is that you know Bu888r-all about any kind of food of France or Uk or Laos, yet feel compelled to comment on it.- 1

Dreaming of Fish & Chips in Bangkok
THt is possibly the most stupid comment on the thread - and you habve no idea of how French or not French I am. THen you try and gainsay using a photo- I know that you own experience of Lao is a visa run to Savannakhet (where I used to work) and like most people there, they spend one night in a hotel and the rest waiting in line at the consulate- they have no idea about the town or the region. Yet you think you can make an argument on the flimsy evidence you have - WHY?
