Yeah totes the childs fault.. The cultural refusal to accept any form of blame or mistake is mind blowingly strong.

When my children were young I would not move my car unless I could see them.

So many unfortunate accidents like this happen as children don't comprehend the dangers around them.

 The man is either an idiot or a fool. He should be castrated so he does not reproduce again.

Absolutely.  I do the same now with my dogs, they must be locked in the house before the car moves.  This happens far too many times, all over the world.
