Strange that when AOC attended the $35,000/ticket Gala at the NY Metropolitan Museum of Art wearing a dress emblazoned with "Tax the Rich" (a dress that cost $5,000), I didn't see a similar editorial on these pages decrying the attention-seeking, left-winger's publicity stunt. 

It's almost, almost as if this article is just the author venting spleen about something that he personally disagrees with that has absolutely nothing to do with the news of Thailand for foreigners.  Almost.

The only thing that would really confirm such a suspicious would be some high-school level pontificating in the article along the lines of, "By trying to paint society as having already achieved a point where everyone was truly equal, it negates the acknowledgement of systemic racism that still..."  Oh, wait, that's from this silly, adolescent editorial as well.

Get your facts right.  The officers didn't "kneel on his neck until he was dead".  He died much later, en route.  He was resisting arrest the entire time because he had 4x the lethal limit of fentanyl in his system, what are officers to do?  Let him keep assaulting people?  The spineless coroner was too afraid of riots to admit the real reason he died.  George Floyd was a violent criminal and a drug addict, not a hero.

His previous actions have zero to do with the actions of the police that day

 

So, again, it's laughable that you lecture people on "getting their facts straight"
