UPDATE After the story hit the media, Thailand’s Government Savings Bank (GSB) released a statement apologising for repossessing and renovating the wrong house in Pathum Thani province, central Thailand, one month ago. The neighbors waited until after the property was renovated to call the owner... strange... if they cared enough to begin with they would have called as soon as the construction workers showed up.

The workers probably didn’t attach the bank signs until after the renovations were complete.
