Yes and the big majority of the new infections are from the Delta variant. Have to look day by day as this is growing taking root. Come on Pfizer and Moderna. Baby needs new shoes!

The pertinent words are" infectees had been fully vaccinated with the Chinese Sinovac jab" which is way down the league table of vaccine effectiveness. That said they are better than nothing which currently is what most Thai's and farang expats have.

I've seen every OST episode many, many times and cannot recall which has epsilon in a narrative - all the planets are Alpha- Beta- Ceti  etc ( presumably needing to be close to the star sun to sustain life to write scripts around..)

Then how did China gain control of it with those same vaccines early on, and become what the media claims to be the gold standard in virus management?

Maybe their were two formulated standards of vaccine. One for domestic use that worked well and another for export only

They also have an authoritarian strength track and trace  that uses all digital data in a way no other country can or does - armed guard sanctions for breaking quarantine, a compliant population and enough tests to flood the world (our free lateral flow test available from the NHS in the UK are made in China)  and even they have moved on from Sinovac , Sinopharm appears to be much better but CP group have 15% shares in the lesser of the two !

They have effectively controlled the virus through non-pharmaceutical interventions  - the vaccines are just the icing on the cake.

The Epsilon Sector was supposedly where Vulcan's home star was. (This may have been a TNG era factoid...)
