The BoT said the Thai numerals were printed mismatching the Arabic numerals.  People can still use the misfit banknotes until they are fully removed from the system, Thai media said.  The company De La Rue (DLR) International Limited said that there was an error in the production process that prevented the misprint from being detected. The BOT and DLR are now investigating the cause of the problem.  Meanwhile, the central bank is speeding up the removal of misprinted banknotes from circulation. The […]

Who knows, maybe some collectors in Thailand will keep their misprinted banknotes.

I have a feeling they'll be worth more than 20 B, as a "lucky" bank note.

I can understand a few misprints but a whole batch.

somebody fall a sleep or more likely did not give a sh..t what he was doing

I feel that the error probably from De La Rue's staff not familiar with Thai numerals. This is probably the first time they have been printing Thai notes after a long while.

Dabbled in this area of unique notes and there is definitely money to be made if you find some.

Pristine flat condition, no creases or marks, consecutive numbers Roman numerals, higher value and bigger market for resale, and you may have a winner.

It is not only Thais that collect there are many Farlung collectors of Thai currency with many specialists in "error" notes.

Slightly off subject, avoid having anything to do with "Silver Dollars" in Sth East Asian countries. 99.9% are fake, if not fake, you cannot afford the price of a real one.
