Employees at a motorbike shop in Chon Buri province, eastern Thailand, couldn’t believe it when a customer asked if he could pay for a brand spanking new Honda PCX – for a price of 102,500 baht – with coins. Most people in Thailand have a pile of pennies they don’t know what to do with, but not nearly enough to buy a motorbike. If I remember right, coins are a costly service, from Thai Banks

I'd say, he was starting to save for a PCX 125 or 150, perhaps?

And over time, the price and the CC rose to 100kThb and 160cc ;-)

Put him on the mutt for paying in coins? Bit harsh mate. In Oz it would only be 3. Now if it was satang that would be an issue

Guess what? Well 10 250 if he paid in 10 baht coins. Or 1025 100 baht bags as per the OP. It's not the science of rockets. Ahhhh Thais and maths never gets old
