I think the watchdog would be unfair because of its bias against cats. The dad will definitely win this case.

I hope so. It would make a good Thai horror movie. The father being driven mad and to his eventual death by the ghost of the cat. It has all sorts of Buddhist lessons about karma and reincarnation...
