Hmm...

I want my Thai friends in the tourism business to get some money in their bank accounts and get out from under the heel of the money lenders.

On the other hand, this morning I saw a Chinese guy on a rented motorbike make a right turn from the far left hand side of the road without indicating.

Maybe lock down wasn't so bad...

No helmet and I have been living in Asia for 35 years.

Shaky, nervous and twitchy riding of the bike as I have seen Chinese people demonstrate for several years now.

Passport sticking out of his back pocket.

Government is interested. A new strain might be enough to re-implement the state of emergency. Also very convenient with upcoming elections.

Like it or not we all now have to live with this new flu virus. If there is lockdown every time someone sniffles the whole world will stagnate and lots more will die of starvation and poverty than the flu kills.

Sure, there will be some lingering fanaticism with those that adopted it as their new found religion. Hopefully they're able to utilize available mental health services and get the help they need.
