Who will enforce these rules? The same worthless cops that enforce helmet laws or stopping at cross walks

Written with typical Thaiger snark. But imagine how bad you'd feel if your air-conditioned, HEPA-filtered, S-Class took a hit on Sukhumvit from one of the Green or Blue or Pink boxes the size of a commercial refrigerator. It could get scratched or lose a wing mirror. There are things more important than getting food to the shut-ins and work-from-home minions trying to get by during lockdown. Keep your laser-focus on the important things.

How about tackling the delivery peoples' dangerous driving?

Maybe while they are at it the DLT can do something about the overloading of pickups that are carrying loads of sand, bricks, bags of concrete 10 lengths of steel and 4 workers.. and the the front wheels are up off the road and the driver if the vehicle is wondering why it won't steer... I forgot this is Thailand

Try getting the bikes to obey traffic laws, impossible and worried about delivery boxes really! Thailand is a lawless country, if there was law enforcement on the roads the amount  of revenue it could create would surely pay for the vaccines that the Thai people sorely need, Wait that would be harassment. What a joke

The box size is not really the main problem. The fact they are looking at phones rather than the road is. I can hardly turn a corner without finding one of these delivery bikes on the wrong side of the road, they really need to train these riders on how to ride safely without endangering life and limb of others.

Life goes on in Thailand. Yet another useless irrelevant incompetent Govt organisation releases a statement and then washes their hands of the matter.  At least this mob has some basis in reality in that what they are talking about are a problem on the streets.  Not much reality of course, but a lot more than all the statements made by TAT - and way more than the next  'Thailand will be a Hub of ..........' statement - and who can forget 'Thailand 2.0' ..... and 'Thailand 3.0' .  Have they reached Thailand 4.0 yet??   Have a laugh, ignore it, and get on with the day - nothing will happen - and if anything does, who cares.

Do they have nothing else to do than making a problem about that??? With a minimum of 30.000 every year with 65% of the Thai not wearing a helmet, with 90% of the accidents because they don’t LOOK. With the tausends of generals,proffesors, doctors is there nobody who can do something about that. Only 40% of Thai have a what Thailand calls a  “ driving license “. 
There is absolutely NO policeman on the street to write tickets for not wearing a helmet , no light, more then 2 people on the motorbike etc etc they mis billions of bath because they don’t write a ticket. and so I can go on and on and on and on. I give you on a paper that I have plans so that the 30.000 dead will be only 15000. If the gouvernement wants to listen.

Very good topic and interesting topic. However there is also another dimension that has not been mentioned which is that with the increase of home delivery comes an increasing risk of cross contamination. Indeed, not all these delivery operators are on top of the hygiene standards in regards of covid and they too are at the mercy of being contaminated by multiple households they visit along the lines. I would think that these guys should be vaccinated and tested as a priority to avoid cross contamination probabilities.

What an absolute joke!!!  This government is laughable with the stuff they come up with.  First off, the size of the boxes is not the problem.  They do not follow the rules of the road!!!  They are on their phone all the time zigzagging in and out of traffic.  They all drive on the wrong side of the road and the police do nothing about this.  I hardly think they are going to enforce the size of the box.  And how about the pickup trucks and big commercial trucks that are way overloaded???  How about doing something about that??  This government should be worried about more things than the size of a delivery box on the back of a motorcycle!!!
