Thailand does not struggle to deal with the problem!

It doesn't make any sort of serious attempt to deal with it.

I got attacked by dogs on my last trip to Samui. My understanding is that dog control on the island effectively ceased during lockdown, and the dog population exploded. With less people around, perhaps they have also become less socialised.

Thailand is a REACTIVE society, there is no preventative management school of thought.🙃

Why? Costs baht to do otherwise.

Something does need to be done, it's a nuisance sometimes, I was dragged off my bicycle in kanchanaburi by 4 dogs years ago, the locals came to my rescue armed with sticks, we can't keep jumping on the covids fault bandwagon.

it's a serious problem and just gives the country a look of being very uncivilised, who would want to come here as a tourist and see stray filthy dogs wandering around?

Will anything ever be done? Well we know the answer to that.

Hmm if only one could be geneticly so advanced to see the future and realisme that u sterilized or un - castrated dogs will reproduce.

But I guess that would be a super human in Thailand. Just imagine what such a geneicly enhanced person could do beside advising to castrating dogs

Thailand and all countries around. But then, it doesn't make any sort of serious attempt to deal with people's problems, so the dogs... But then on the island where I am, foreigners have started organisations to deal with it, no doubt Thai people go along, including the only vet who does a hell of a job!

thailand should start practicing eating dogs and cats to keep the population in control. !!

What's your plan to manage the illnesses and disease that would result from consuming such animals?
