A woman sought help from a social media influencer after being allegedly sexually assaulted by a Sergeant in her home inside a military base in the central province of Kanchanaburi. The victim reported the attempted rape to the police but they told her to report the incident to her army senior. She did that but was told off by her superior for sullying the military’s reputation. You read these accounts of interaction with the police and you almost can’t believe the words you are reading. Th Thai Police are so far away from any definition of “Police” that’s its high time they were given an alternative description. I’ll suggest a few:
