Airbnb says more tourists in Thailand are opting for ‘off-the-beaten-track’ destinations, benefiting the environment and local economies. I've done it several times, driving a rented car. Biggest problem is drivers cutting corners on that mountain road, even when they can't see the traffic coming from the other direction.
