Thailand is joining the world in honouring the UK’s Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away yesterday. The Thai government has now ordered all departments to lower their flags to half mast for three days in her honour, starting on September 11. I don't often say this, but good one Thailand.

I am not much of a Monarchist, but Elizabeth earned respect on the global stage through her actions and service, and it is nice to see that fact acknowledged.
