On the heels of the Ministry of Interior proposing to loosen laws that would let small hotels operate more simply as homestays, a coalition of hotel associations is calling for a relaxation of building guidelines that have made 20,000 small hotels illegal. the fire escapes are unsafe (or the wrong size?) and disabled people cant get in.  I guess if theres a fire then, they would be doubly plessed to have not been in there in the first place.

They should be more strict to safety regulations for these small hotels which often cut corners or go around compromising safety for profit.

These unregistered business must invest in public safety or close. There should be no other choice.
