Drunk driving is among the most rotten disgusting behavior in traffic, putting random innocent persons in risk. Lock him up and throw away the key.

The intoxicated man was also injured and admitted to hospital. He was reported to be trapped in his pickup cab and helped out by the rescue team.

Why must he even be rescued? Just leave him there and let the British embassy extract his useless drunk body out

Hops is an unusual surname, possibly incorrect, other details may be also possibly incorrect.

That is why, in theory, there is a trial.

So give him a fair trial and then hang him or whatever. Unless of course he comes to a financial settlement in the meantime.

The surname was Hobbs, not Hops as the Thaiger stated.

You've got to wonder at 70 year's old you should have the wisdom not to get into a vehicle drunk .

Maybe he has a similar problem to Joe Biden with dementia?.

President Biden does not drive vehicle does he? When was President diagnosed with dementia? Why do you even mention president Biden since there is absolutely no reference or relveance to your imagined state of dementia.

He is an old big boy and should know not to get in a vehicle when plastered. He essentially ruined his life and others from stupidity. Where was he drinking? They too should have also known better than let him go away fully blasted. I won't even touch one of our cars or trucks after drinking.

Like he's a Welshman and not an Englishman.

Not English, he's Welsh. I've just seen this has been pointed out. It is realy not good reporting though.

Let's hope he's a very rich Welshman as it'll take a lot of cash to sort this one out.
