A very interesting article. I recall a political promise to sort out corruption. Who would have guessed it meant to hide it better. It’ll never be sorted out because  when Thailand’s most senior police investigated human trafficking he had to seek political asylum in Australia, saying he feared for his life because influential figures in the Thai government, military and police are implicated in trafficking and want him killed.

I watched the YouTube video posted by @Venusianhart . The acting PM was mentioned frequently…..

How do you wanna get rid of this possible main income source for most of the public servants? They all wanna get rich.

Corruptions are there in every country on earth. Even in China where the maximum punishment for corruption of death also cannot deter people from involving in it. It all depends on the intensity of it. If we look deep down USA is the worst corrupt country of all beginning from its policies and implementations....

The loophole that allows the police to recruit people with specialized knowledge has become a floodgate for cronyism, where the only “special knowledge” appointees possess is the contact info and connection of high-ranking police officers or politicians.

Corruption in the Thai police force, who would have thought it..........................................Of course EVERYBODY knows there is corruption from the top to the bottom in Thai society including the military and police but NOBODY is prepared to tackle it. . . . . . .  .I wonder why?

This coming from someone in Malaysia which has one of the worse corruption problems in the world...
