The government’s Covid-19 task force has defended new restrictions that ban dining in at restaurants, saying the country is heading into a fourth wave of the virus. According to a Bangkok Post report, Natthapol Nakpanich from the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration says the Delta variant is now spreading across the country. I can feel their frustrations - they are seriously struggling and the Govt is giving them very little if any support. Meanwhile the Thai Govt enforces their closure, when it is very clear that the vast majority of new cases have come form illegal workers in constructions sites and factories.  And what actions are they taking to identify and jail those business owners who illegally imported these workers? Sweet *** all.  Those who know why, dont need to be told - but if it was said in an open public forum, there would be charges brought and people sued.  I hear them and hope they get what they need quickly - business.
