Police in the Ron Phibun district of southern Thailand discovered 40,000 methamphetamine pills in an abandoned, wrecked car with a street value of about 5 million baht late last night. Ron Phibun police chief Pol Col Suthas Songsayom announced officers were alerted to the abandoned vehicle that had crashed in a ditch, near Suan Phak intersection in tambon Ron Phibun, at about 11.30pm by emergency services.
