A Thai policeman threatened to arrest security guards after they clamped his motorcycle at a condominium in Bangkok. He also refused to pay the parking fine. Police are on call 24/7, me thinks.

If the officer is on duty then fair enough to waver the fee but as he lives there and isn’t on duty why should he be treated any differently. It just shows how some think they’re above the law.

If he really abused his position and made threats to arrest innocent people just to get his own way I am sure his bosses will track him down and dismiss him for corruption in public office.............NOT! Thai policemen seem to be allowed to get away with abusing their authority with impunity, hardly surprising there is so much corruption.
