Yesterday, several emotive but peaceful protests were held around Bangkok calling for Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to stand down. One protestor with a painted face stood outside Bangkok City Hall last night holding a sign that reads… “Let it stop at 8 years. The Prime Minister is unconstitutional! Prayut, get out.” Protestors insist that Prayut’s time in office runs out today, August 24, 2022, eight years after he became Prime Minister in August 2014 – just three months after he led a coup against the elected government of Yingluck Shinawatra. I’d like to see the PM respect the wishes of the voter because in the long run staying on as PM will only lose votes for his party at the next elections.

When is get out and be gone ever going to happen. It is not! He just changes cameleon colors and stays in the mix with Prawit. They don't want to give up the power and they won't.

Good luck thinking Prayut has no power. There is some loophole somewhere that he’s already thought of and will soon be exercising. Of course with his cronies in tow

It better be.... Imagine the shitstorm that follows if they let him stay another 4 years. Allowing him to stay is really irresponsible, because we all know what will happen next in the streets.
