“Omakase shimasu” actually means choose whichever one / whatever you like and can apply to many situations beyond food, e.g. in a work situation:

A: Which meeting room should I use?

B: Use whichever one you like (“Omakase shimasu”).

Strangely though, when I read the title “Omakase”, I read it as “Grandma cheese”, which is what it would be in German if you pop a couple of dots above the second a.
