Two drivers were lucky to make it out alive as their cars plunged into giant hole in the road in Nakhon Ratchasima province in northeast Thailand. The drivers said there were no indications of construction work as they sped along Mittraphap Road – or ‘Friendship Highway‘ – the 509 kilometre road linking Isaan to Bangkok. Without or with solar powered warning lights? Which often stop working 10 minutes into the night?

If a car had already crashed into the hole then surely there wouldn't be a crash barrier there for the pick-up to drive through, so sorry, I'm nitpicking!
