An Indian man was arrested at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok on Tuesday for trying to smuggle 17 prohibited animals from Thailand to India. The Director of Thailand’s Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, Praset Sornsathapornkun, reported to the media that the 21 year old Indian man, Abilash Annadury, was arrested by the officers of the Suvarnabhumi Airport Wildlife Checkpoint. Under Thai Law, Section 23, the man faces a penalty of up to 10 years in jail, and a fine of up to 1 million baht, or both. The penalty depends on the purpose of his smuggling.

Add another 10y for animal cruelty.

this guys are seasoned, normal people are afraid to touch or see this animals, but this guy can buy and pack to carry along with him.

should be a big network of gang and should be big prospects for this trade.

Hopefully he will cop the larger side of the permitted sentence. These people need to be taught a lesson that may scare the crap out of other would be animal smugglers.

This guy is testimony to the fact that Darwin was wrong with his theory about the survival of the fittest.  At least as it pertains to humans.  Just how stupid do you have to be to think you can put 17 animals in a suitcase and not have the xray machine pick up on them.

I guess 17 cows are too big to fit into the luggage
