One young Thai athlete is giving the kingdom a new reason to be proud. World Athletics has declared a Thai teenager the fastest 100 metre sprinter in the world under 18 years old. The 16 year old boy, Puripol Boonson, has a record of 10.09 seconds for the 100 metre sprint, and 20.19 seconds for the 200 metre sprint, at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Colombia on August 2. Send him to America. I dont know if its politically correct in 2022 to say that he will forever lose to a black guy but...

Being the fastest Asian and winning Asian events would justify the investment tenfold.

In that particular sport I advising sending him somewhere with a good 'sports science' team.

Yep. nothing wrong with a little govt subsidies.

Surely, there are govt athletic programs that do just this.
