A new poll revealed Thailand’s economy grew at its fastest in a year over the last quarter but the kingdom’s outlook is still threatened by the high cost of living and China’s decision to maintain a zero-Covid-19 policy. The Thai economy grew largely because of tourism and the government’s decision to relax entry rules into Thailand such as the Thai Pass and quarantine measures. According to the median forecast of 16 economists polled between August 8 and 11, tourism growth is estimated at 3.1% year-on-year in the second quarter, up from 2.2% in the previous quarter. Why don't they stop trying to over saturate this wonderful country with too many Chinese and concentrate on all people so there is a good mix. These people are never out and about and never have to encounter them in the thousands, and seriosly any people from one country in the too many is overkill.

They better get used to missing the Renminbi because between the never ending bid to eradicate the virus they unleashed, the middle class hitting a housing crisis and financial depression caused by aggressive party flexes pushing the west from trade dependence into hostile adversaries, the former middle kingdom won't be at the seafood buffet for quite a while... Cambodia only too happy to oblige those who do manage to make it out, whereas Thailand will soon be obliged to choose sides, and either way, they will have to make huge sacrifices.

Watching the news coming out of China and it looks like many of the citizens there are also missing Chinese cash sadly.  If that news is actually true, since we cannot believe much of the news these days, it might be a while before many Chinese folks will be out spending money abroad.  One would think all the bad economic news coming out of China we would see a huge collapse but it is still humming along.  The CCP wouldn’t dare massage the economic numbers 😂😂

A reminder that China's economy and economic conditions is the influential player in the world today.

As goes China so goes the world.
