Honestly, are they stupid?

But when the man died, his family let authorities know that he had actually tested positive for monkeypox in the United Arab Emirates before he boarded his flights to India.

He did know, he had monkey pox, but keft a country with a better health system, to get back home?

how many people may he have infected, in the plane, on the airports, in his village, on the way to it?

And why is it always a number just in the 20, of people "who had contact with the infected"?

Well, it is basically spread by having sex with someone. That rules out the plane and the airport I guess. As for his village, he knew he was infected. So hopefully his mind was on getting better and not on having sex.

And yes I know it can also be spread by bodily fluids coming from the wounds he might have had. But hopefully they would have denied him entry to the plane if he appeared at check-in covered with open sores.

Sex is not really needed, a toilet, like in an plane, touching surfaces (Bed, towels) that someone wit monkey pox has used.

If it would be only transmittable trough sex, it would be easier to contain.
