The second case? And the Nigerian man was the first case? More likely they are the fourth and third case since someone (two someones) infected them. And those someones have not been found yet.

We are discovering here in America almost all the cases of Monkey pox have been from sex between homosexual men.

Having said that, they should have let the Greek letter "Xi" be used for Omicron.

With hetero anal sex being in fashion thanks to porns obsession with it, how far away is the straight wave? Or even the guys who are fundamentally straight but are going to bring it across into the bar scene from monkeying around with ladyboys. 

I don't care what anyone says, decades of HIV prove that most "straight" men who got AIDS were either IV drug users or secretly switch hitters.

I had unprotected sex with a Thai woman for nine months, who was four years into HIV and never seroconverted, I've rarely used condoms and I've been very promiscuous, I'm almost certain I've slept with other women who were HIV positive too. HIV is very rare going from female to male unless blood is exchanged during vaginal intercourse.

Monkey pox spreads far easier than HIV by a magnitude.

Guess it's time to order in one of those microchipped love dolls from Japan.

There's likely dozens already and, at least six created a night. Sexual disease spreads so readily among the gay community because of a number of factors, there's a much higher degree of chemsex use, leading to risky behaviour and in some cases, "slamming" meth usually involves IV needle sharing.  Then the fact that they're male; whereas hetero sex has the tempering influence of females tending to be more sexually conservative there's no such restraint in the male on male scene. 

If it's more transmissible than HIV the world of promiscuous sex is about to explode with cases, let's hope those smallpox vaccines still work.

How many Covid anti-vaxxers do you really think this will affect, if they are mostly conservatives? Just saying that most of the no mandate crowd are conservatives and generally speaking conservatives are about retaining family values and a man taking care of his wife and children, not too mutch of a risk to them now is it?

Thinking of this as a disease that "affects other groups" is a surefire way to a pandemic.

Granted, it's been affecting mostly the M2M community and a recent research report states that in 41% of cases, the sufferer is also HIV+: https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2207323

Viruses are colour blind and don't care about sexual orientation. All it needs is a bisexual vector of transmission and bam, it becomes widespread.

But it's spread from contact with the puss, from the lesions, I would say it is safe to bet that most hetro men will not lay down with a girl with pussy lesions. Whereas the gay men will, maybe they think it's just aids?

The other site of contact may be from laying on a bed with sheets that have the puss on them, that still will not affect 90% of straight married men that don't sleep in strange beds.
