All those amazing pictures we’ve seen from the new James Webb Space Telescope do have a small Thai connection. One Thai astronomer, Dr. Nicha Leethochawalit of the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand, was amongst the first among astronomers to use the new space telescope to the discover the oldest and farthest galaxy ever detected. Incredible achievement by mankind, nice to know a Thai was involved at some level. I do find it strange how we can come up with these astounding discoveries and yet people all over the world still believe in some supernatural being and stick their heads in the sand when presented with the facts of evolution and the wonders of the cosmos.
