Drugs are being distributed all across the country and young people, many out of work and back home due to Covid, are easy prey.   Alcohol and yaba shared around of an evening and we've seen normal loving, decent young family members turn violent against their elders when challenged.

One might expect the current hard times to put drugs out of reach of the unemployed, instead they beg, borrow or steal to buy the cheapest alcohol and drugs they can find.  This has been exacerbated by Thailands lack of tourist arrivals as there're insufficient jobs for many hospitality and bar workers.
