Way past time the use of animals for entertainment of tourists was stopped. Elephants and Tigers in Thailand spring immediately to mind. Sadly though I will not be holding my breath for anything much to change. It is the same as the ludicrous 'making merit' by releasing birds etc. How about not caging the birds in the first place and 'making merit' instead by helping the poor.
